Seriously though, it is our great aim to create a top-notch competitive pipe band to perform and promote the ancient music of our Celtic ancestors.
So what makes us any different from the other competition bands in the area?
Well for one thing, we recognize that there is a lot of talent in some of the surrounding non-competitive pipe bands that might like to try their hand at competition but don't want to quit the band they play with now. While many competition bands tend to not want you unless you give up all other allegiances, we believe that you can do both! Continue to perform with your show band and come with us for the thrill of the field! We will not pressure anyone to leave his or her show band to work with us.
For another thing, we believe in working towards the development of the individual musician. We will accept those musicians who can demonstrate a basic proficiency on their instrument, even if they don't have much experience, as long as they are willing to learn.
