Celtic Eagle Pipe Band
We are a bagpipe and drum band, based in the Akron & Canton area, who perform traditional and contemporary Celtic music.
While we are available for private performances, our main focus is Celtic music competition with other bagpipe and drum bands in the area, and out of state. For those in the "know", we are currently competing at the grade five level and look forward to moving up to higher challenges soon.
Our membership is made up of seasoned musicians from Akron, Canton, Medina and other areas of Northeast Ohio. We are a fun group that takes our music seriously and has the drive and determination to make it big. A couple of our members were even former members of the Mid-West Champion Supreme Pipe Band, Crag dhe Cead, which unfortunately broke up a few years ago, but we hope to fill their shoes! If you are an experienced bagpiper or drummer looking for a serious competitive band, come and give us a look. If you have never played before, but are interested, don't despair, we are instituting a development program for beginners too!
